Playback Sports is a y, providing Horse Trials competitors with personalised DVD’s and Television companies with footage for broadcast. Covering some of Europe’s largest Events Playback Sports is fast becoming a welcomed addition to the Eventing scene.

Offering a range of services from Promotional Films to Events broadcast (watch Fontainebleau CIC***W now on countrychannel.tv or Blenheim live on Sky Sports on September 13th!) Playback Sports is determined to see the sport gain the publicity it deserves. Watch this site closely for news on our televised Events plus a number of exciting new projects in the pipeline!

Managing Director & Co Founder: Joe Metcalf

Joe has been involved with horses from an early age and has worked for some of the biggest names in Eventing. In creating Playback Sports Joe hopes to bring his mutual love of sports and film together to raise Eventings profile whilst providing competitors with something genuinely useful! “Being able to watch yourself compete is invaluable, for riders and coaches it’s a unique training aid and for owners it’s a great memento”. Although he believes Playback Sports still has a long way to go Joe has high hopes for the future and plans to eventually competitive more regularly himself.

Director & Co Founder: Luke Metcalf

Luke studied Music and Media, which gave him a strong knowledge base of the industry before going into business. Growing up in Somerset and surrounded by a family of animal lovers Luke has a love of the outdoors and country life. His understanding of the equestrian world is based upon many years spent around both Joe and their mother Lynn who have had a lifetime’s involvement in Eventing and equestrianism.

Director: Andrew Dywer

Having a University background in media studies has given Andrew invaluable experience in editing and production techniques to make up for the fact that up to the inception of Playback Sports he has had nothing to do with the equestrian world, having not come from a horsey background. He is however keen to learn, so please bear with him if he cant tell the difference between a horse and a camel!
